A citation is a listing of your business name, address and phone number on another site, such as Yelp, Bing, Apple Maps or a local directory. Listings that match your Google profile help Google trust that your details are correct.

Common questions
How long until I rank higher?
It depends on your area and your competitors, so no one can honestly promise a specific rank or date. What we do offer is a 30-day money-back guarantee: if you don’t see ranking improvement within 30 days on an active plan, contact support@rankoptimizer.ca for a full refund. Our terms of service have the details.
Do I need a Google Business Profile?
Yes. To show up in Google’s map results, your business needs a Google Business Profile. If you already have one, we optimize it. If you don’t, GBP Setup builds it with you; Google asks the owner to verify a new profile.
What are citations and why do they matter?
Citations are listings of your business name, address and phone number on other websites and directories. When they are accurate and match your Google profile, Google can be more confident your details are right, and customers find the correct phone number and hours wherever they look.
What do you need from me to get started?
A short guided setup after you sign up. You tell us your business details and what you do. If your plan includes Google Business Profile work, you also confirm your profile, add support@rankoptimizer.ca as a manager, and share your hours, services and logo. For rank tracking, we suggest the keywords and you can change them. After that, we do the work.
Do you work with businesses outside London?
Yes. We are based in London, Ontario, and work with small businesses across Canada. Everything is done online, so it doesn’t matter where your business is.
Can I cancel a monthly plan?
Yes. Cancel any time from your account settings. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period, and you won’t be charged again. One-time services, such as GBP Setup and directory listings, are charged once.
